Quality Week 2025: Together for Better Quality
Quality is always at the heart of what we do at KAEFER. Every day, we work to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions , and to become a little better than we were yesterday. During the fourth quarter, we once again gather for the annual Quality Week campaign, a global event where all KAEFER countries focus on quality, learning, and continuous improvement.
Through discussion, reflection, and the sharing of experiences, we create a sense of community that strengthens both professional pride and collaboration. Quality Week gives us a shared opportunity to celebrate everything we already achieve, while also asking the questions that drive us forward: What can we do even better?
Stian Kleggetveit, Quality Manager at KAEFER Norway, explains that «Quality is not a task, it’s a culture! During Quality Week, we raise awareness among each other about how our quality principles should permeate everything we do .»
A part of We Take Action 4 HSEQ
Quality Week is part of KAEFER’s global initiative «We Take Action 4 HSEQ», which brings together the Group’s focus on four key values: safety, quality, people, and environment. Each quarter highlights one of these themes, and in the fourth quarter, the focus is on quality.
Through this initiative, KAEFER companies around the world share experiences, ideas, and best practices. We inspire each other to think improvement, to learn from both successes and challenges, and to raise the level of quality in everything we do – every day, all year round.
Quality as a Culture
At KAEFER, quality is not just a goal – it’s a fundamental mindset. It’s about how we think, collaborate, and learn in everything we do.
We believe in the principle of «first time right»: that doing things right from the start creates safety, reduces risk, and lays the foundation for further development. This mindset is closely linked to the LEAN philosophy, which is an important part of how we work with improvement.
Through LEAN, we focus on creating value for the customer, reducing waste, and establishing stable processes that ensure high quality over time. Small, targeted improvements can together lead to great results. When everyone contributes with their experience, we create the collective learning that makes us stronger , both as individuals and as an organisation.
For us, quality is also about compliance: that all work execution must meet the requirements, relevant laws and rules, sector standards, client- and internal requirements set for us and our deliveries. This is the very foundation of our quality work and a prerequisite for safety, trust, and professionalism in everything we deliver.
Although Quality Week is an annual event, our quality work is continuous. We develop processes, build competence, and strengthen reliability in our deliveries throughout the year. The goal is a strong learning culture where everyone takes ownership of improvement and quality.
How We Mark Quality Week 2025 in Norway
Throughout the fourth quarter, so-called “Quality Week meetings” are held across all departments and projects. These gatherings are led locally and involve all employees – from operators to directors.
This year, all employees will complete two tasks as part of the campaign. The first task focuses on reporting and learning from quality deviations and is mandatory for everyone, while for the second task, participants can choose one of four specific topic assignments covering:
- Internal control
- Documentation traceability (control of records)
- Use of the management system i-KAEFER
- Verification and compliance with governing documentation
Reflections from the completed tasks are collected for further sharing and learning, both internally and externally. In this way, we ensure that Quality Week not only creates good discussions but also leads to concrete improvements in everyday work.
As Stian puts it, “Quality Week helps increase awareness and engagement across our different workgroups as part of our continuous improvement efforts.”

Together for Better Quality
Quality Week remind us that quality is not an item on a checklist, but permeates everything we do and is a continuous journey. To ensure improvement and lasting change, quality must be delivered every day in all phases of our work from planning all the way to execution, control, and evaluation.
At KAEFER Norway, we believe in the power of community. When we listen, share, and learn together, we build the kind of quality that creates safety and trust – with each other, with our clients, and for the future.
