ENERGY Drainplug®

Locks in case of fire

The drain plug is used in the ENERGY Firecover® (fire box), ENERGY Fireshield® (fire panels), fire protection systems, valves and flanges. ENERGY Drainplug® is designed and tested to react when it’s exposed to fire. In an operating mode, the drain plug is always open, but if it’s exposed to fire, the inner mass will expand and prevent heat transport from passing through the drain hole.
